What We Do
Much of the the North Eastern U.S. has been plagued by high grading operations that has resulted in poor quality woodlots. At Future Forest Management we strive to fix high graded or poor quality tracts and help manage good quality timber.
Our Mission
Historically, landowners have been at a disadvantage when having access to low-grade markets in the southern part of New York State. Combine that with High-grading and it creates a recipe for poor quality stands.
We first take into account the landowners wants and goals for their property.
We then cruise a tract of woods with the focus on making informed decisions based on the stand quality and composition.
This then allows our company to help connect landowners with different markets and to help them manage their woods for the future.
