Seed Tree operations
Seed Tree operations can help a property on a number of different levels. First it will offer a food source to animals. By creating an Oak or a hickory seed tree it will offer many food sources to Squirrels, Grouse, Turkey, Deer and other species commonly found. A seed tree also helps develop more of the same species, which in turn will help with food sources. Seed trees can also help with high quality timber growth.

Management
One of most recent projects consisted of patches of Aspen with different size cohorts. Our implementation of this project is to reserve an area roughly 1 to 2 acres in size that has Aspen, Honeysuckle, Hawthorn, Pin Cherry and few large pines. This area will act as good nesting and drumming cover. Then a zone around this area will be cut heavier to all for extremely young aspen regeneration to take over. This will act as brooding cover.
Wood Duck Nesting Boxes
We create wood duck nesting boxes for landowners that have the proper wetland habitat. Generally wood ducks like swamps and wooded wetlands that have a hardwood food sources nearby, particularly oaks.
Retention of Trees and Snags.
We mark out reserve trees that may have beneficial impact towards wildlife on your property. Such as having a sufficient trees per acre value for woodpecker food sources.
